This is a good example of why it is worth using two different methods to calculate the same thing.
I received help from my teacher in using the ICT package, especially the error bars, and also in the initial experiment. I used the website http://www.kpsec.freeuk.com/symbol.htm for the components in my circuit diagrams and I used my own notes and the Advancing physics AS textbook for information on Kirchoff’s 2nd circuit law. I got information my information on the maximum power theorem from the website http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maximum_power_theorem.
I used ICT both to analyse my data and present my results. In particular the Excel programme was very useful for my data analysis enabling me to quickly produce various graphs and charts in order to see which ones were relevant, and also to add things like error bars and best fit lines easily.
I also used a calculator for my calculations.
To have got different data in my analysis I could have measured other quantities in my initial experiment, we did try experimenting with varying the distance between the electrodes in the potato but this didn’t seem to make any perceptible difference. I
