in the area they would have been unable to live there no matter how much iron it had. Maybe they would have sent out parties to gather it, although they wouldn’t have had complete control of it.
In conclusion, I think that iron was the main reason the Celts lived on Trevelgue Head as Cornwall has other defendable sites but iron was a rare and valuable commodity.
