Easy… you don’t lead them as much (laughs) Ain’t war hell,” the impropriety and indecency of the troops is a direct result of their new, negative approach to life which needs them to be 100% immoral to survive and live with themselves, so they kill their consciences and make it very easy to hate and kill, “A day without blood is like a day without sunshine”.
The greatest way to show opposition to the Vietnam war is to underline the negative features of being involved. Death, the loss of morals, the deteriorating mental stability one should have, the loss of loved ones and the terrible impact it will have on the innocent. There are a variety of ways in which people can express their views on the war and create discussion and the films, songs, artwork and literature I have studied have been some very effective and interesting ways of doing so. Even though the war ended in the early 70s, recent artists have been using the Vietnam war as a popular topic to discuss in their art and hopefully this will remain so.
