This time wire up the voltmeter to a computer so that we do not have any excuse for anomalous results due to misreading or ‘miscommunication’. Also the experiment should be conducted in an area in which heat and pressure is constant to reduce anomalies, and also the circuit should be allowed to ‘cool down’ in-between experiments to make the test fairer and to not allow heat induced resistance to become a factor in the experiment.
