Nearly everybody has leadership qualities and will use them without even realizing it, I am going to look into my own leadership qualities now and analyze them. I’m not perfect as nobody is so I have a list of my good qualities and a list of qualities that I need to improve.
Patience
Definitions:

I have shown that I have patience whilst I worked with special needs children in 2003/2005. I worked at Spring Common School which is an area special school with serve children with moderate, server, profound and multiple learning difficulties and with associated medical, communication, sensory, physical and/or emotional/ behavioural difficulties.

My role was a teacher assistant, I had to form relationships with the children so they felt comfortable around me, as most of the class could not communicate properly or had a lack of attention I had to dedicate a lot of time to each pupil. I had to show patience whilst the student would try to communicate with me also when my teacher assistant tasks would come into play such as try to involve all the pupils in a class activity as each pupil required help in different levels.
I believe I have developed this skill throughout my childhood. For example my mother is a very patient person she has worked with young children from all around the world and with people who suffer from autism. People say children are imitators they behave the way they see others behave. When I was younger as a family we would go out on fishing trips. This sometimes meant being stuck in the middle of nowhere and not creating a lot of noise for a number of hours. My mum, sister and I used to play games such as listening for how many different sounds that we could pick up on, sleeping lions and eye spy, these games helped me to become more patient as it taught me to entertain myself, even though I had nothing to play with.
