If I didn’t have patience as a quality my whole life would be different I have achieved my goals through my attitude and if I took away my patience my whole attitude would change. For instance seven months ago I brought a puppy if I didn’t have patience I would not have been able to house train him and teach him to do tricks. Another example is I would offend people who want to support me, because when a change takes place and is slow process I would become short tempered and accuse them for not helping me enough.
I have learnt that if you have too much patience there are times when people take advantage of you, you should always stand up for yourself otherwise you will be used as a doormat. I have learnt this as I live independently and a lot of my friends are still living at home they ask me if they can stay over because they are having arguments within there household I am fine with this till I realized it was happening every week and they wasn’t respecting my home or contributing towards food ect they where just using my home as a doss house.
Patience is a good quality in a leader because it shows self control and a person who shows patience becomes more approachable for other people.

I have shown that I have good communication skill in the summer of 2007 when I applied and was chosen to represent my college in an international trip to china to teach English language and culture at a public school in Dan yang. I had to communicate with twenty four Chinese pupils aged twelve to fourteen year olds whom had never spoken to an English person before. I had to teach the student new words and meanings and just over a period of ten days my students learnt about our English holidays and Festivals, and we of their holidays, and other Basic English language. I received a good reference from the teacher I was working alongside with; I also formed friendships with the students.
How this trip tested my communication skills?
